12+1+1μm Primer Aluminum Foil

The 12+1+1μm Primer Aluminum Foil is a composite material formed by coating conductive carbon layers onto electronic-grade aluminum foil substrates, which serves as the cathode current collector for lithium-ion batteries. It cuts contact resistance, strengthens the adhesion of cathode active materials, and shields the aluminum substrate from oxidation and electrolyte corrosion, effectively boosting battery cycle life, safety performance and batch consistency of cells.

The 12+1+1μm Primer Aluminum Foil features a thicker carbon layer, specifically designed for high-power energy storage systems using lithium iron phosphate or lithium manganese iron phosphate batteries and heavy-duty truck power batteries. It significantly reduces interface impedance, making it ideal for battery manufacturers operating under high-rate fast-charging conditions and extensive cycle cycles. This solution effectively addresses critical challenges such as powder shedding on high-density electrodes and electrolyte-induced aluminum foil corrosion, thus meeting the needs of customers developing sodium-ion batteries, solid-state batteries, and other electrolyte systems with corrosive properties.
