It is primarily used as the positive current collector in lithium-ion batteries. This material reduces battery contact resistance, enhances adhesion of conductive active materials, prevents oxidation and corrosion of the aluminum foil, improves cell performance consistency, extends battery cycle life, and enhances safety.

12μm Mill finish aluminum foil serves as a current collector for lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries. It can be deployed directly with NMC and NCA cathodes, as well as cathodes and anodes for sodium-ion batteries.
